So, you might have heard of Endymion decks, where they excel at utilizing Spell Counters for big plays. Endymions were also known alongside their Mythical Beasts and Cerberus is one of them, seen in "Side Deck". Yet, did you know its OG variant was actually completely different? In this deck, you will see it.
Gameplan
1) Special Summon "Mythical Beast Cerberus" as early as possible to boost its ATK whenever you play a spell and place Spell Counter on it. Here are the possible scenarios...
In the very beginning, if you have opened with Monk and pulled out Panda, that means Ancient can bring forth Cerberus without breaking any plans or Extra Deck summons.
If you have only started with Panda, that means you have to rely on some of Endymions:
If you don't have none of Endymions but "Spell Power Mastery", tutor one of them. "Servant of Endymion" can pull out Cerberus from your deck while "Reflection of Endymion" can pull out Cerberus from your hand. Choose it wisely.
When you have used one of their abilities, you need to alleviate your board space issues for Extra Deck summons by playing "Monster Recovery" and targeting on either Servant or Reflection. After playing "Monster Recovery", don't forget to spare one Pendulum Zone for ME-PSY-YA, which is essential for "Primal Seed" setup.
If you don't like any of these options, remove Endymion cards in addition to "Monster Recovery" and either add "Double Summon" or "Trismagistus" to Special Summon Cerberus whenever possible. You can check them in "Side Deck". The drawback is that you might have to play lots of spells to boost Cerberus, which can take more time than usual.
If you still don't like anything being offered, you can Special Summon Cerberus with Saryuja but prepare for APM actions with "Primal Seed" setup, which will be explained later on.
2) XYZ Summon Number 13 by using 2 x Level 1 monsters as materials. Then, Link Summon Saryuja by using 4 materials, one of which has to be Number 13.
3) Although not shown in this video, if you are still lacking power for Cerberus, place ME-PSY-YA on Pendulum Zone and Special Summon Chaos Emperor Dragon. This setup is needed for "Primal Seed", so that we can target "Primal Seed" duo each other to play spells forever and raise the ATK of Cerberus. As long as you don't banish Number 13 with Chaos, everything will be fine.
4) When the ATK of Cerberus is higher than your opponent's LP, revive Number 13 with "Monster Reborn". If there is no space, "Mystik Wok" can help in that regard. Then, overlay into Number 43 by playing "Rank-Up-Magic Launch".
5) Finally, play "Mystik Wok" and target on Cerberus. Don't forget to choose its ATK. With healing to damage conversion via Number 43, you can FTK your opponent.
